Primary Timing Chain Tensioner Removal

/ 9-5 (9650) / 2011 / 2. Engine / Basic engine, V6 / Adjustment/replacement / Primary Timing Chain Tensioner Removal

1.	Remove the 2 primary timing chain tensioner bolts (3).

2.	Remove the primary timing chain tensioner (1).

3.	Remove the primary timing chain tensioner gasket (2).

4.	Inspect the primary timing chain tensioner mounting surface on the engine block for burrs or any defects that would degrade the sealing of the NEW primary timing chain tensioner gasket.
