Engine Coolant Inlet Pipe Replacement (Diesel)

Preliminary Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAU/A28NER) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LBS/A20DTH) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LHU/A20NFT) .

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .

3. Detach the radiator outlet coolant hose.

Engine Coolant Inlet Pipe Fasteners (Qty: 2)

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten

9 Nm (80 lb in)

Engine Coolant Inlet Pipe Assembly


Procedure

1. Replace gasket.

2. After installation, fill the coolant reservoir to the recommended fill level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAU/A28NER) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LBS/A20DTH) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LHU/A20NFT) .

3. Inspect cooling system for leaks.
