Preliminary Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAU/A28NER) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LBS/A20DTH) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LHU/A20NFT) .

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct upper. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement - Upper (LBY/A20DTR)

3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct lower. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement - Lower (LBY/A20DTR)

Air Cleaner Duct Bracket Fastener (Qty: 2)

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten

8.5 Nm (75 lb in)

Radiator Outlet Hose

Engine Coolant Inlet Pipe Fasteners (Qty: 2)

Tighten

9 Nm (80 lb in)

Procedure

1. Install NEW gasket.

2. After installation, fill the coolant reservoir to the fill level. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAU/A28NER) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LBS/A20DTH) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LHU/A20NFT) .

3. Inspect cooling system for leaks.
