Intake Air Pressure Measurement System - Multiple Sensors Not Plausible
| Circuit/System Description |
The Intake Air Pressure Measurement System consists of (3) sensors, the barometric pressure (BARO) sensor, the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, and the Turbo Boost sensor.
| Conditions for Running the DTC |
| • |
DTCs P0106, P0107, P0236, P0237, P0238, P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230, or P2610 are not set.
|
|
| • |
Ignition ON after greater than 10s since last ignition cycle.
|
|
| • |
The BARO, MAP, and Turbo Boost signals are between 50-115 kPA (7-17 psi).
|
|
| • |
This DTC runs continuously when the above enabling conditions are met.
|
|
| Conditions for Setting the DTC |
The ECM detects greater than 10 kPA (1.5 psi) difference between all (3) of the Intake Air Pressure Measurement System sensors.
| Action Taken When the DTC Sets |
DTC P000C7 is a Type B DTC.

Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Verify that DTCs P0106, P0107, P0236, P0237, P0238, P2227, P2228, P2229, or P2230, are not set.

If a DTC is set, refer to
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
for further diagnosis.

Ignition ON, observe the scan tool MAP Sensor, BARO Sensor, and Turbo Boost Sensor parameters. Compare the parameters to the
Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure
table.

If one or more sensor parameters are out of range, refer to the appropriate diagnostic for more information.
