This DTC is used for information only. This DTC does NOT indicate there is a condition with the crank sensor or the engine control module (ECM). |
This DTC is used to indicate that the engine speed exceeded the fuel cutoff limit in gear. This DTC may set if the transmission is placed in a low gear while driving down a steep grade or traveling at a high speed.
| Conditions for Running the DTC |

The engine is running.

The DTC runs continuously once the above condition is met.

| Conditions for Setting the DTC |
The ECM detects the engine speed is greater than the threshold for greater than 0.5 s.

DTC P0219 is a Type C DTC.
