Engine Calibration Monitoring Not Programmed
Circuit/System Description |
This diagnostic addresses if the ECM is not programmed with the engine calibration.
Conditions for Running the DTC |
• |
The ignition is ON.
|
• |
The DTC runs continuously once the above condition is met.
|
Conditions for Setting the DTC |
The ECM detects that the engine calibration is not programmed in the EEPROM for greater than 1 second.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets |
DTC P160E is a Type A DTC.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC |
DTC P160E is a Type A DTC.

Program the ECM. If DTC P160E sets after programming, perform the following steps:

Ensure that all tool connections are secure.

Ensure that the programming equipment is operating correctly.
|

Ensure the correct software and the correct calibrations are being used.
|
• |
Attempt to program the K20 Engine Control Module.
|
• |
If DTC P160E sets, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
