Circuit/System Description |
The control functions for the fuel injection system are integrated in the engine control module (ECM). During the manufacturing process, each injector flow rate is measured and recorded as injection quantity adjustment flow rate data. This data, together with the injectors' cylinder position, is stored in the ECM. When the ignition is turned ON, the ECM monitors the fuel injection flow rate numbers to ensure they are present.
Conditions for Running the DTC |
The ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC |
The fuel injector injection quantity adjustment flow rate data is not programmed.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets |
DTCs P268C, P268D, P268E and P268F are Type B DTCs.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC |
DTCs P268C, P268D, P268E and P268F are Type B DTCs.
Diagnostic Aids |
Verify that the ECM has the correct part number for the application.
