DT-527-A Adjuster

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Removal Procedure


1. Remove the manual transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .


2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

3. Open hood.

4. Position the transmission into NEUTRAL and fix it with the DT-527-A pin (1).


5. Turn the gearshift guide (2) at 180 degrees and get the pins into the holes.


6. Into the vehicle pull behind the retainer for the gearshift cable to open it.



Installation Procedure


1.
Note

Displacement of the gearshift cable in relation to its seating.


Pull again the retainer (1) from the gearshift cable to fixate it.


2. Turn the gearshift guide at 180 degrees and get out the pins from the holes.


3. Remove the DT-527-A pin from the shift control housing.

4. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

5. Remove the manual transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
