Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the right driveshaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (GNB) Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (Petrol) .

2. Drain the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check or Transmission Fluid Replacement .

Intermediate Shaft Flange Fastener (Qty: 3)

Refer to Fastener Caution

Tighten

22 Nm (16 lb ft)

Retaining Ring (Qty: 2)

Intermediate shaft


Procedure

1. Slide the intermediate shaft in the gearbox until 20 mm remains. Protect the seal with the protective collar.

2. Fill up the transmission fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check or Transmission Fluid Replacement .
