Front Camber Adjustment (GNB)

1.

Position the vehicle properly on an alignment rack.
|
2.

Note
|
Use NEW fastener and do not tighten the new fasteners yet in order to allow for movement.
|
Replace the steering knuckle camber adjust fastener (1).
|
3.
|
Replace the steering knuckle upper ball stud (2) fastener.
|
4.
|
Adjust the front camber to specification, rotate the steering knuckle camber adjust fastener in the direction necessary to the correct the camber measurement. Refer to
Wheel Alignment Specifications
.

5.
|
Tighten the steering knuckle camber adjust nut, do not tighten torque at this time.
|
6.
|
Reinspect the front camber specifications and adjust as necessary.
|
7.
|
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Hold the camber adjust bolt and tighten the NEW steering knuckle camber adjust nut (1) to
70 Nm (52 lb ft) + 45 degrees + 15 degrees
.

8.
|
Tighten the steering knuckle upper ball stud fastener (2) to
115 Nm (85 lb ft) + 45 degrees + 15 degrees
.
|
9.
|
Repeat the procedure for the other front wheel.
|
