Front Camber Adjustment (GNB)



1. Position the vehicle properly on an alignment rack.

Note

Use NEW fastener and do not tighten the new fasteners yet in order to allow for movement.


Replace the steering knuckle camber adjust fastener (1).


3. Replace the steering knuckle upper ball stud (2) fastener.

4. Adjust the front camber to specification, rotate the steering knuckle camber adjust fastener in the direction necessary to the correct the camber measurement. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications .

5. Tighten the steering knuckle camber adjust nut, do not tighten torque at this time.

6. Reinspect the front camber specifications and adjust as necessary.

7. Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Hold the camber adjust bolt and tighten the NEW steering knuckle camber adjust nut (1) to 70 Nm (52 lb ft) + 45 degrees + 15 degrees .


8. Tighten the steering knuckle upper ball stud fastener (2) to 115 Nm (85 lb ft) + 45 degrees + 15 degrees .

9. Repeat the procedure for the other front wheel.
