Disable the SIR system. Refer to

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to

Repair as much of the damage as possible. Refer to
Dimensions - Body

Remove all related panels and components.
|
5. |
Remove the rear side door. Refer to

Remove the rear side door weatherstrip - body side. Refer to

Remove the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to

Remove the rear window. Refer to

Remove the rear compartment lid. Refer to

Remove the rear compartment lid weatherstrip. Refer to

Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to

Cut out the body side outer panel. Refer to

Remove the sealers and anti-corrosion materials from the repair area, as necessary. Refer to
Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair (Base)

Locate and drill out all of the necessary factory welds.
|
15. |
Remove the damaged rocker outer panel reinforcement rear outer.

Pre-spot operation. The number of spots is specified in the documentation from the welding equipment manufacturer. |

Position the new rocker outer panel reinforcement rear outer (1) on the vehicle.

2. |
Clamp the new body side outer panel into position.
|
3. |
Spot weld the rocker outer panel reinforcement accordingly.
|
4. |
Apply the sealers and anti-corrosion materials to the repair area, as necessary. Refer to
Anti-Corrosion Treatment and Repair (Base)

Install all related panels and components.
|
6. |
Install the rear side door. Refer to
