Circuit/System Verification |
Ignition OFF, command the parking heater ON and OFF with the remote control. Verify the parking heater turns ON and OFF with no DTCs.
Component Testing |
Dynamic Test
1. |
Ignition OFF, separate the K87 Parking Heater Control Module from the X150 Parking Heater Harness & Parking Heater Assembly Harness.
|
2. |
Ignition OFF, test for less than 5 Ω between the low reference circuit terminal and ground.
|
3. |
If greater than the specified range, replace the X150 Parking Heater Harness & Parking Heater Assembly Harness.
|
4. |
Connect a 8.2 V maximum regulated voltage supply between the 14 pin connector terminal 14 to the heater assembly and the heater control module terminal 13 to the heater assembly.
|
5. |
If the blower motor fan speed is less than 1 000 RPM, replace the M94 Parking Heater Blower Motor.
|
6. |
If the M94 Parking Heater Blower Motor tests normal, replace the K87 Parking Heater Control Module.
|
Repair Instructions |
