Fault symptom
Nothing happens when any CD button on radio unit is activated.
Diagnostic procedure

1.
|
If the CD changer does
not work and no trouble codes have been generated, check that the connectors on the cable
between the radio and CD changer are firmly attached.
|
|
2.
|
Unplug the cable at both ends and try a new cable run loosely in the car.
|
|
3.
|
If the CD changer works with a new cable, change the old one.
|
|
4.
|
If the CD changer does not work with a new cable, plug in the old cable again
and continue fault diagnosis as described on
