Programming
Programming |
Starting with M1995, the Scan Tool is equipped for programming SID 2/3 and SID 4 (SID 1 with audio display). Only one basic programming routine is provided and since the Scan Tool does not show how the instrument is programmed, the routine cannot therefore be used to check this. Basic setting of the following features is carried out and they must be adapted to the relevant market by means of the adjustment commands.
• |
Service
indicator
The normal service interval is 20,000 km. This can be programmed and
changed with "SERVICE INDICATOR" in the "ADJUSTMENT" menu.
|
• |
Language
The basic setting (English) can be
changed with "LANGUAGE" in the "ADJUSTMENT" menu.
|
• |
Units
The basic setting (metric) can be changed
by means of the SID unit's pushbuttons.
|
• |
Speed warning ME
