Moisture in the front direction indicator
lamps

All M94 Saab 900 models with a chassis number between R2000565 and
R2006296, inclusive.
Moisture can enter the front direction indicators through the ventilation openings
at the bottom of the lamps.
(10) 92 88 127 Butyl tape (about 70 mm per lamp
required)

Marking of the modification identity plate
|
When the car has been remedied, the modification identity plate should be
stamped in box "B2". If remedial action has been carried out by the importer, a figure "7"
should be stamped in the plate. If done by a dealer, the plate should be stamped with a figure
"8".

Remove the front direction
indicator lamps. (If moisture is present in the lamps, remove the bulb and leave the lamp to
dry out.)

|
Remove the T-piece at the bottom of the lamp.
|
3.
|
Apply butyl tape on the T-piece and refit it.
|
4.
|
Apply butyl tape to the prevent moisture from entering the lamp.
Important
|
Make sure that the edge of the butyl tape is not lower than the edge of the lamp.
