The signal does not function LED flashes during delay period
|
1.
|
Connect ISAT and select "ACTIVATE" on the menu, then select "HORN", activate with "ON". The horn should sound off.
|
|

|
If not, select "READ VALUES" on the ISAT menu (leave the "activate " function in "ON" position) and then select "RELAY, HORN". Read off on the display.
When horn is activated -
"ACTIVE"
|
|

If step 2 is OK, connect BOB and check the voltage between control module connection 24 and a good grounding point.
The voltage must be approximately 12 V.
If the voltage is OK, proceed to step 5.
|

If the voltage is incorrect, check the leads by measuring the resistance for open circuit between:

|

|
33-pin connector (blue connector) below the left A-pillar, connection 1 and one connection for the horn (red lead).
|
|
|
•
|
second connection for horn (yellow lead) and control module connection pin 24. The resistance must be < 1 Ohm.
If the resistance is correct, the malfunction is in the horn. Change horn.

Check the grounding by measuring the resistance between the control module connection 22 and a good grounding point.
The resistance should be < 1 Ohm.
If the resistance is incorrect, check the wiring harness for open circuits.
