Diagnostic trouble code B2475

Symptom: Alarm cannot be activated

Diagnostic trouble code B2475

Microswitch driver door open circuit (unlock signal)

Fault symptom

Alarm cannot be activated

Action

1. Connect ISAT and select "READ VALUES", then select "UNLOCK SIGNAL". Turn the key in the driver door to the unlock position and read off the ISAT display.

Under activation - "ON"

At end and neutral position - "OFF"

2. If not, connect BOB and check the voltage between control module connection 11 and a good grounding point when unlocking. The voltage must be approximately 12 V for approximately 750 ms.

If the voltage is correct, proceed to step 4.

3. If the voltage is incorrect, check the voltage by the central lock control module by measuring between the control module connection 8 and a good grounding point when unlocking.

The voltage must be approximately 12 V for approximately 750 ms.

If the voltage is incorrect, continue fault diagnosis according to Service Manual 3:2 Electrical system, Wiring diagram for "Central locking".

4. If the voltage is correct, check the wiring harness for open circuits by measuring resistance which should be < 1 Ohm.

Measure between the central lock connector pin 8 and the theft alarm connector pin 11.
