Replacing/removing input shaft bearing race.

Remove the four screws of the seal holder. Put the screws and shims in a safe place.

Press out the bearing race using drift 87 90 800
and tool 87 92 236
as a support.

Turn the gearcase and fit the bearing race in position using a plastic hammer.
|
2.
|
Then press down the bearing race using press sleeve 87 92 202
until the tool bottoms against the gear casing.

3.
|
Fit the seal holder with a nominal packet of shims of 1.4 mm. Pull down the bearing race alternately with the seal holder.
Tightening torque 38 Nm (28 lbf ft).
