Note

When a system function is activated with the Scan tool diagnostics instrument, the Sensonic control module will execute a command that is not functionally normal.

In activation mode the Scan tool diagnostics instrument controls the functions of the control module. For this reason the activation command should be used with discernment.

An activated function is always reset when you exit the activation mode and go further in the Scan tool diagnostics instrument menu, or when you exit the diagnostics mode. Always clear any diagnostic trouble codes that have been generated in the Sensonic or any other system when you have finished work during the activation phase.

Important

Activation mode can be addressed only in gear position N. In other gear positions the Scan tool diagnostics instrument display will show CHANGE TO NEUTRAL AND THEN PRESS ON/ENTER. All activation commands can be cancelled with ESC.

On completion of diagnosis, always clear all systems by using the CLEAR ALL command.
