When the ignition switch is turned to the Start position, current (+50 circuit) is sent (possibly via the anti-theft alarm) to pin 26 of the Sensonic control module.
Provided that the clutch has opened, the Sensonic control module then sends the +50 supply to the starting relay from pin 5.
The conditions determining whether the clutch will open (disengage) are that:

The gear lever is in neutral.

The gear lever is in reverse and the brake pedal depressed.

There is no hydraulic system or communication fault between the control module and clutch actuator unit.
