Description of FL, FR and rear wheel valve tests |

Select “VALVE TEST FL” in the
“ACTIVATE” menu.

Rotate the wheel by hand. The wheel should rotate freely.
If you answer YES, the inlet valve will be closed, thus closing the passage from the master cylinder to the wheel cylinder (Fig.2). |

The inlet valve is closed. The valve has moved to the HOLDING PRESSURE
position. The passage is closed and there is no brake pressure on the wheels.

The wheel should rotate freely.
If you answer YES, the inlet valve will open and the passage is opened (Fig. 1). Brake pressure can go to the wheel. |
5. |
The wheel should be locked.
If you answer YES, the outlet valve will open (Fig. 3) and the return pump will start. The brake fluid pressure returns from the wheel cylinder by means of the return pump. |
6. |
The wheel should rotate freely.

7. |
The last display shows that the test has been completed.

8. |
If a fault arises while the test is in progress or you answer NO to any of the
questions, this display will be shown.
