Correcting a Customer Complaint of Noise or Vibration Coming from the Vacuum Pump
|
This bulletin contains information about a resistor harness that can be installed to address a customer complaint of vacuum pump noise or vibration following the installation of vacuum pump kit, P/N 47 78 411 (see SI 541-9029). The resistor harness lowers the operating voltage of the pump, which lowers objectionable noise. Normally, the vacuum pump only runs for 1-2 seconds and most customers would not find this brief operation objectionable.
