When performing the PDI test drive on a 1994 900 hatchback model, please make certain you verify that the steering wheel is centered. If it is not, do not remove the steering wheel in an attempt to realign the wheel. Because the steering wheel on these models is indexed to the steering column shaft, minor adjustments cannot be made by pulling off and repositioning the steering wheel. The only manner in which it can be adjusted is by adjusting the tie rods at the steering rack.
