Suspension arms
Suspension arms |

Raise the car and remove the front wheel on the side where the suspension arm is to be removed.

Undo the anti-roll bar nut.

3. |
Undo the nut on the ball joint. Use special tool 89 96 696 to press out the ball joint. Remove the nut from the ball joint.

4. |
Unscrew the nut securing the support arm to the suspension arm.

5. |
Remove the bolt securing the suspension arm to the subframe.

To fit |
1. |
Fit the steering arm to the subframe. Fit the bolt loosely.

2. |
Fit the bolt securing the support arm to the suspension arm. Tighten the bolt, using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque: 92 Nm (67.9 lbf ft). |
3. |
Fit the ball joint nut and tighten it, using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque: 75 Nm (55.4 lbf ft). |
4. |
Tighten the bolt securing the steering arm to the subframe, using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque: 115 Nm (84.9 lbf ft). |
5. |
Fit the anti-roll bar nut and tighten it, using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft). |
6. |
Fit the wheel and tighten the wheel bolts, using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque: 105-130 Nm (77.5-95.9 lbf ft). |
7. |
Lower the car to the floor.
