Front seat belts, 3D

To remove



1. Remove the slide rail's front screw and extract the belt.

2. Remove the side trim, see page 851-11.

3. Remove the B-pillar trim and side cover, see page 851-9.

4. Move the red plastic lever forwards to engage the belt pretensioner safety catch.

5. Drill out the pop rivet through the clamp round the belt pretensioner tube and remove the clamp.

6. Remove the belt guide.


7. Remove the screw at the top of the belt adjuster plate and lift the plate out at the bottom.

8. Undo the slide rail's rear screw and remove the belt reel.


To fit

Fit in reverse order.

Tightening torque:

Belt reel retaining screws: 45 Nm (33 lbf ft)

Adjuster plate retaining screw: 24 Nm (18 lbf ft)

Slide rail retaining screws: 45 Nm (33 lbf ft)
