The body is reinforced in the areas that are most exposed to strain in the event of an accident. Some of this reinforcement is also made of

High-strength steel. The circled areas are especially exposed and require extra accuracy in the event of bodywork repairs.

Important
Body reinforcement components should be cut and joined only if they are specifically covered in the description of methods. Unless otherwise stated, a damaged reinforcement component must be discarded and a new one fitted in its place. This is mandatory.
