Rear bumper
| Rear bumper | 
| 1. | 
       Open the tailgate.
        | 
     |
| 2. | 
       Remove the weatherstrip along the bottom edge.
        | 
     |
| 3. | 
       Undo the two bolts retaining the load-securing eyelets and the two
plastic nuts retaining the sill scuff plate.
        
       
        | 
     |
| 4. | 
       Fold the luggage compartment carpet towards the front.
        | 
     |
| 5. | 
       Remove the sill scuff plate by pulling it straight up (secured by
clips).
        | 
     |
| 6. | 
       Undo the four bumper retaining nuts.
        
       
        | 
     |
| 7. | 
       Remove the plastic moulding securing the front edges of the bumper to
the wheel housings (secured by two screws).
        | 
     |
| 8. | 
       Lift away the bumper by pulling it rearwards so that it comes free from the
brackets.

| To fit | 
   
   | 1. | 
       Fit the bumper in place and
screw on the four retaining nuts.
        Tightening torque: 39 Nm (29 lbf ft)  | 
     |
| 2. | 
       Adjust the fit and tighten the retaining nuts.
        | 
     |
| 3. | 
       Fit the plastic mouldings to the front edge of the bumper, over the wheel housing
edges.
        | 
     |
| 4. | 
       Fit the sill scuff plate by pressing it into position onto the
retaining clips. Fit the load-securing eyelets and plastic nuts.
        
       
        | 
     |
| 5. | 
       Fold back the carpet in the luggage compartment.
        | 
     |
| 6. | 
       Fit the tailgate weatherstrips.
        
       
        | 
     |
| 7. | 
       Close the tailgate and check its fit.
        |
