Replacement of front bumper cover

Replacement of front bumper cover

To remove



1. Remove the spoiler skirts and spoiler.

2. Remove the number plate (secured by two screws).

3. Remove the bumper. See .

4. Place the bumper on a workbench with a protective underlay.

5. Remove the fog lights, which are secured by means of two nuts and bolts on the top and a screw at the bottom.

6. Detach the bumper plate from the 18 clips securing it to the outer cover and lift it out of the cover.


Note

Use one or two screwdrivers.


7. Remove the cellular core from the outer cover (wedged in under the tabs on the outer cover).


To fit



1. Press the cellular core into place inside the outer cover.

2. Fit the bumper plate to the outer cover.

3. Fit the fog lights.


Note

Align the fog lights correctly after fitting them.


4. Fit the bumper. See .

5. Fit the spoiler and spoiler skirts.

6. Check headlamp alignment and adjust if necessary.
