In such cases you should use the method described on page 852-3.

1.
|
Lower the seat as far as it will go.
|
2.
|
5-door:
Detach the belt from the anchorage on the seat by pressing in the catch using a curved screwdriver
(see dimensional drawing).
|
3.
|
Slide the seat forwards and remove the rear retaining bolts.
|
4.
|
Slide the seat rearwards and remove the front retaining bolts.
|
5.
|
Snip through the cable ties on the wiring and unplug the seat connector.
|
Important
|
When fitting the seat it is important to tighten the retaining bolts in the right order. If this is not done, the seat will not work properly.

|
1.
|
Lift the seat into position, guiding it onto the inner bracket's locating lugs.
|
2.
|
Plug in the seat connector and fix the wiring by means of cable ties.
|
3.
|
Fit the front retaining bolts. Tighten the inner bolt first.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 lbf ft)
|
4.
|
Slide the seat forwards and fit the rear bolts. Tighten the inner bolt first.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 lbf ft)

5.
|
Check that the seat locks properly into place on both sides simultaneously.
|
6.
|
5-door:
Press the seat belt firmly down into the anchorage. Make sure that the catch engages properly.
