Bypass valve, oil filter

To remove



1. Raise the car and drain the engine oil.

2. Remove the oil filter.

3. Cut threads using an M10 (step 3) screw tap in the end plate, screw in an M10 bolt and pull out the bypass valve.


To fit


1. Tap home the bypass valve. Use a 15 mm drift.

2. Fit a new oil filter and check that the oil plug is tightened.

3. Lower the car and fill with motor oil.
