      | 1. | Raise the car, drain the oil and remove the subframe.

      | 2. | Undo the locking bolts and remove the sump.

      | 3. | Remove the bolts in the oil strainer holder. Remove the oil suction pipe's retaining bolts in the oil pump. Remove the strainer. Note the oil suction pipe's O-ring.

      | 4. | Remove the antislosh baffles.

      | 1. | Fit the oil antislosh baffles. Apply 74 96 268 to the bolts. 
 Turning torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft).

      | 2. | Fit the oil suction pipe. Note the O-ring. Lock the bolts with 74 96 268. 
 Turning torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft).

      | 3. | Apply 87 81 84 to the joints in the parting line. The surface should be free from oil and grease. 
 
   
 | 
    
   
  
  
   
    
     
      | 4. | Position the gasket and fit the sump. Lock the bolts with 74 96 268. See drawing for tightening order. 
 Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 lbf ft).

      | 5. | Fit the subframe. Fill up with engine oil.
