Cooling fan
| Cooling fan |
| To remove |
| 1. | Disconnect and remove the battery. Remove the battery shelf (SENSONIC). | |
| 2. | Separate the radiator fan's electrical connections. | |
| 3. | Release the servo pump's oil pipe and the clips for the radiator's breather hose from the radiator crossmember and turn the oil pipe to one side. | |
| 4. | Remove the 2 screws securing the radiator fan cover and lift it up. | |
| 5. | Remove the screws which hold the radiator fan to the fan cover, undo the resistor (2-speed radiator fan) and undo the contacts from the fan cover and remove the fan. | |
| To fit |

   | 1. | Fit the radiator fan in its correct position against the fan cover and secure it with the nuts. | |
| 2. | Press the contacts on to the fan cover and refit the resistor (2-speed radiator fan). | |
| 3. | Fit in the radiator fan cover over the radiator and tighten the two screws. | |
| 4. | Reconnect the radiator fan. | |
| 5. | Refit the battery shelf (SENSONIC). Refit and reconnect the battery. | |
| Replacement of temperature sensor for radiator fan |

   | 1. | Open the lid of the expansion tank and release the over-pressure, then tighten the lid. | |
| 2. | Remove the cover and the pressure pipe between the charge air cooler and the throttle body (turbo). | |
| 3. | Undo the temperature sensor's electrical connection and remove the temperature sensor. | |
| 4. | Fit the temperature sensor. Turning torque 6 Nm (4.5 lbf ft). Reconnect the electrical connection. | |
| 5. | Fit the pressure pipe between the charge air cooler and the throttle body (turbo) | |
| 6. | Fill with coolant and check the system for leaks. | |
| Replacement of fan resistor (2-speed radiator fan) |
| 1. | Remove the radiator fan, see instructions. | |
| 2. | Cut off the cables to the resistor. | |
| 3. | Solder the cables to the new resistor. Be careful to follow the colours. | |
| 4. | Fit the radiator fan, see instructions. | |
