Replacement of rear secondary air injection pipe (6 cyl.)

1.

Remove the engine's protective covers.
|
|
2.
|
Separate the pipe to the rear exhaust manifold at the hose and remove the bolt from the mounting.
|
|
3.
|
Lift up the car and remove the injection pipes from the exhaust manifold.
|
|
4.
|
Fit the injection pipes using new seals and tighten the screws.
Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft).
|
|
5.
|
Lower the car and fit the pipes to the rear exhaust manifold. Tighten the bolt to the mounting.
|
|
6.
|
Fit the engine covers.
|
