| To remove | 
| 1. | Disconnect the oxygen sensor's cables, undo the cable clamp and the clip and lift up the car.

| 2. | Remove the oxygen sensor.   | |
| 3. | Undo the joint between the front exhaust pipe and the intermediate pipe. | |
| 4. | Unbolt the front exhaust pipe from the turbocharger.   | |
| 5. | Remove the screw from the securing point and remove the exhaust pipe. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Clean the joints. | |
| 2. | Fit the screw which holds the exhaust pipe to the engine, but do not tighten it. | |
| 3. | Insert the front exhaust pipe and screw it on to the turbocharger. Lubricate the three stud screws on the turbocharger with Molycote 1000 prior to fitting. Tightening torque: 25 Nm (18.5 lbf ft). | |
| 4. | Tighten the screw which holds the exhaust pipe to the securing point on the engine. Turning torque 40 Nm (30 lbf ft). | |
| 5. | Bolt together the joint under the car.   Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 lbf ft). | |
| 6. | Refit the oxygen sensor. Lubricate the threads with Molycote 1000 prior to fitting. Tightening torque 55 Nm (41 lbf ft).

| 7. | Lower the car to the floor and plug in the oxygen (Lambda) sensor connector. Fit the cable clamp and clip.   | |
