Accelerator pedal
| Accelerator pedal | 
| To remove | 
| 1. | Remove the resonator or the cover over the intake manifold. | |
| 2. | Unhook the throttle cable from the throttle body. | |
| 3. | Remove the lower part of the dashboard and unhook the throttle wire from the accelerator pedal.   | |
| 4. | Unhook the accelerator pedal's return spring. | |
| 5. | Remove the clips and the bushings. | |
| 6. | Pull out the accelerator pedal and remove the return spring.

| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Refit the return spring and the accelerator pedal. | |
| 2. | Refit the bushings and the clips. | |
| 3. | Hook on the return spring and hook the throttle cable on to the accelerator pedal. | |
| 4. | Open the throttle fully and hook the throttle cable on to the throttle valve (butterfly). | |
| 5. | Place a 5 mm spacer on the pedal stop and press the pedal down against the spacer. Adjust the tension of the throttle cable by means of the adjusting screw on the cable. | |
| 6. | Release the accelerator pedal and adjust the position with the setting screw on the upper part of the pedal. There should be no play, slack or tension in the cable. | |
| 7. | Refit the resonator or the cover over the intake manifold.   | |
| 8. | Refit the bottom part of the facia. | |
