Throttle cable
| Throttle cable | 
| To remove | 
| 1. | Remove the resonator or the cover over the intake manifold. | |
| 2. | Unhook the throttle cable from the throttle body and remove the clip. | |
| 3. | Remove the lower part of the dashboard and unhook the throttle wire from the accelerator pedal.   | |
| 4. | Take hold of the plastic sleeve and pull the throttle cable out through the bulkhead plate into the engine compartment. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Move the throttle valve to the wide open position. | |
| 2. | Fit the throttle cable to the cable securing point and refit the clip. | |
| 3. | Hook the throttle cable onto the throttle butterfly and pass the cable through the bulkhead partition. | |
| 4. | Fit the throttle cable to the accelerator and place a 5 mm spacer on the pedal stop. | |
| 5. | Press the pedal down against the spacer and adjust the tension of the throttle cable by means of the adjusting screw on the cable. | |
| 6. | Release the accelerator pedal and adjust the position with the setting screw on the upper part of the pedal. There should be no play, slack or tension in the cable.   | |
| 7. | Refit the resonator or the cover over the intake manifold. | |
| 8. | Refit the bottom part of the dashboard. | |
