   The crankshaft position sensor is located at the flywheel end of the engine block
   
   
   
  
  
   
  
  
  
   
    
     
      | 1. | Take off the engine
cover. 
 
 | 
    
   
  
  
   
    
     
      | 2. | Remove the turbo pressure rod and plug the turbo discharge
hose. 
 
 | 
    
   
  
  
   
    
     
      | 3. | Release the wiring from the sensor by unplugging the connector and removing
the clips/straps.

             Note the routing of the wiring.

      | 4. | Disconnect the wiring. 
 
   
   
 | 
    
   
  
  
   
    
     
      | 5. | Remove the sensor's retaining screw and take out the sensor. Pay
attention to where the sealing ring is located.

      | 1. | Clean the seating for the sensor
and fit the sensor with the sealing ring correctly positioned. 
 Tightening torque for retaining screw 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)

      | 2. | Reset the wiring and secure it with clips/ straps. 
 
 | 
    
   
  
  
   
    
     
      | 3. | Join the connector together. 
 
 | 
    
   
  
  
   
    
     
      | 4. | Fit the turbo discharge pipe and the engine cover. 
 
 |
