Throttle body
| Throttle body | 
| To remove | 
| 1. | Take off the engine
cover. | |
| 2. | Remove the connecting pipe from the throttle pipe. | |
| 3. | Disconnect the throttle and cruise control cables. | |
| 4. | Unscrew the cover of the expansion tank to release the pressure in the cooling
system. | |
| 5. | Remove the idle air control valve.   | |
| 6. | Disconnect the coolant hoses from the throttle body. | |
| 7. | Disconnect other hoses from the throttle body. | |
| 8. | Remove the throttle position sensor. | |
| 9. | Remote the 4 retaining bolts and lift away the throttle body.

| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Check the condition and
location of the "O" ring. | |
| 2. | Fit the throttle body and tighten the retaining bolts. Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft) | |
| 3. | Fit the throttle position sensor. | |
| 4. | Check the setting of the throttle plate. Adjust if necessary by undoing the
2 bolts and then moving the mount in the desired direction.   | |
| 5. | Connect all the hoses and the throttle and cruise control cables. | |
| 6. | Fit the idle air control valve. | |
| 7. | Fit the connecting pipe to the throttle body. | |
| 8. | Fit the cover.

| 9. | Check operation. | |
