The lights switch must be in a position where the parking lights are on. This is to ensure that the ICE module is supplied with current from the switch for the extra fog lights. |

Check that the fuses for the
extra fog lights in the main fuse box in the dashboard are intact and live.

If 12 V is not supplied to the extra fog lights, check the wiring for
continuity/shorting by taking a reading between pin 87 of the relay connector and pin 1 of
the connector for the lamps.

Plug in the scan tool and select "READ FAULT CODES" from the menu. If any
trouble codes are present, continue on

Connect a jumper lead between pins 5 and 7 of the switch connector.
![]() If the fog lights work, the fault is in the switch. Change the switch. |

If they do not work, check the wiring for continuity/shorting as follows:
