Parking lights
Parking lights |
When the lights switch is turned to position 1 ("parking lights"), power for the rear parking lights is supplied to pins 4 (left-hand) and 28 (right-hand) of the ICE. The parking lights are supplied with power from pins 27 (left-hand) and 3 (right-hand) of the ICE module.
The front parking lights are supplied with power directly via the parking lights fuse.
The number plate lighting is supplied with power via one of the fuses for the front parking lights.
For certain markets the parking lights are turned on when the lights switch is in position 0 and the ignition is switched on, see under "Daylight driving lights" on .

Cars for certain markets are fitted in addition with side marker lights which are supplied with power via the front parking lights. The side marker lights consist of one of the filaments in the direction indicator lamps.
Bulb check, rear |
Monitoring of the bulbs is carried out by means of the ICE module. In the event of imbalance, the ICE module sends a signal to the SID unit and a message appears in the display. If the car is fitted with main instrument display panel 1, the "Faulty bulb" indicator lamp lights up.
