Parking lights
Parking lights |
The parking lights are switched on and off by means of lights switch 10, which is always supplied with current.
When the lights switch is in position 1, current is supplied to parking lights 13 via fuses 29 and 30.
Rear lights 14 are also supplied with current via these fuses but through the ICE control module which monitors them.
If a rear light bulb should fail, the ICE control module sends a signal to pin 8 of the SID unit which lights up the "DEFECTIVE LAMP" indicator lamp or the INFO DISPL lamp in the main instrument display panel at the same time as a message is displayed in the SID unit.
Number plate lamp 15 and the rear lights on a trailer, if any, always receive current when the parking lights are on. The ICE control module does not monitor these lamps.
The parking lights on the trailer, if any, are supplied with current via connector 258 (H8- 5).
Side marker lights 234 are fitted on cars for certain markets.
