The lamp does not light up when the ignition switch is turned to the Drive
position. The lamp does not light up when the tank contents are down to about 8 litres.

If the lamp does not light up the
bulb is probably faulty and will have to be changed.
|

Check the conductive foil by measuring the resistance between pin 8 (14-p) and
the screw marked "F-W". If there is an open circuit, change the foil. The resistance reading
obtained should be < 1 ohm.
