Saab 900 M95-, with remote controlled anti-theft alarm.
The rubber button in the remote control will become worn after a time and is now available as a spare part for remote control with part number 45 50 075, 45 50 083 and 45 50 091 (CA: 30557482, 30558206 and 30557483).
Remote control with other part numbers must be replaced as the buttons are not replaceable.

Open the battery cover and carefully remove the two batteries.
Important
|
Be careful not to touch the contact surfaces on the batteries as this may cause interruptions in operation.

Place a small screwdriver in the notch on the remote control and carefully pry apart the two halves.
Important
|
Be careful not to press the screwdriver into the remote control, as this will damage the circuit board.
|

|
3.
|
Detach the rubber button from the upper half with a small screwdriver.
|
4.
|
Fit the new rubber button. Make sure the button symbols are in the correct positions.
Poke down the rubber with a small screwdriver. Check the front of the remote control to make sure it is correctly fitted.

Put together the two halves.
Important

Take great care of the circuit board when fitting together the two halves.

Put back the batteries and close the cover.

Be careful not to touch the contact surfaces on the batteries as this may cause interruptions in operation.

7.
|
Synchronize the remote control to the car by pressing the left-hand button five times.
