Replacing wiring harness in roof

1.
|
Remove the left side trim in the luggage compartment, the A, B and C-pillar trim, the courtesy handle, the sun visor, the front lamp console and the rear-view mirror.
Also remove the strip around the sunroof if fitted.

2.
|
Take down the headlining to expose the wiring harness.
|
|
3.
|
Mark all connectors carefully
before disconnecting from their components.
Components and wiring harness are secured to the headlining.
|
|
4.
|
Fit the new wiring harness.
Check the markings, connector colour codes and lead codes carefully against the wiring diagrams in Service Manual "3:2 Electrical system, Wiring diagrams".

Note

|
Secure the wiring harness in a suitable way to prevent rattling!
|
|
Fit the trim in reverse order.
|
