| This test must not take longer than 5 seconds! Checking is not recommended for the turbo version. | ||
| 1. | Remove the test plug from the transmission casing and connect an oil pressure gauge.   | |
| 2. | Chock all four wheels on the car.   | |
| 3. | Apply the handbrake fully.   | |
| 4. | Press the brake pedal down hard.   | |
| 5. | Start the engine and check the idling speed (
        
         6-cyl:
        
        800 rpm
        
         4-cyl:
        
        900 rpm).

| 6. | Move the selector lever to position D and check the system pressure as indicated in the table.   | |
| 7. | Move the selector lever to position R and check the system pressure as indicated in the table.
