Adjusting the parking-lock

Remove the selector lever
housing far enough for it to be possible
to turn it to one side, see

2.
|
Place the selector lever in position P and the ignition key in position
OFF.
|
3.
|
Measure the play between the locking pin and the locking disc. The
play should be 0.7 ± 0.3 mm.
|
4.
|
Place the ignition key in position ON.
|
5.
|
Release the nut on the link arm.
|
6.
|
Remove the "locking pin".
|
7.
|
Turn the link arm end piece in the desired direction. If there is too
much play, turn it anti-clockwise, if there is too little, turn it clockwise.
|
8.
|
Tighten the locking nut when the play is correct and fit the locking
pin.

Refit the selector lever housing, see
