Winter switch
Winter switch |
In order to facilitate starting if the road is slippery, the transmission is fitted with a winter starting program. The transmission is then automatically prevented from engaging first and second gears and the car is started in third gear.
A spring-loaded switch in the selector lever's console makes it possible to select the WINTER gear shifting program.
Activation of the switch gives 0 V (ground) on pin 21 of the TCM.
The WINTER indicator lamp in the main instrument comes on at the same time as WINTER is selected.
WINTER can be selected in gear D with the result that SPORT cannot be selected. WINTER is disconnected if
