Disassembly of master cylinder

Disassemble the master
cylinder.
|
2.
|
Clean the master cylinder and place it in a soft jaw vice.
|
4.
|
Take the primary piston and the seals out of the cylinder.
|
5.
|
Take away the cover washer and lock pin.
|
6.
|
Pull the secondary piston out of the cylinder.
|

Clean the cylinder
bore.
|
2.
|
Rinse out cylinder and blow it dry.
|
3.
|
Check that the passage holes are free from dirt.
|
4.
|
Lubricate the seals with brake fluid.
|
5.
|
Press the secondary piston into the cylinder, fit the lock pins and put the cover
washer in place.
|
6.
|
Press the primary piston and seals into the cylinder.
|
8.
|
Fasten the fluid reservoir onto the master cylinder.
|
9.
|
Fit the master cylinder to the brake servo unit.
