Replacing the rubber bush in the reardampers.

Replacing the rubber bush in the rear dampers.

To remove



1. Remove the damper.

2. Place the damper, an 18 mm socket and special tool 89 96 720 in a press.

3. Press out the bush (see picture).


To fit



1. Lubricate the bush and compression tool, if used, with petroleum jelly (Vaseline) or the like.

2. Press in the compressed bush, using special tool 89 96 720 as a dolly (see lower picture).

3. Fit the damper.
