| To remove |
| 1. |
Raise the soft top cover and remove the cover underneath it.

| 2. |
Detach the control rod from the fifth bow latch.
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the screws securing the latch.
|
|
| 4. |
Unplug the electric connections and remove the latch.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Put the latch in place and tighten the screws.
|
|
| 2. |
Put the control rod in place on the latch.
|
|
| 3. |
Plug in the connectors.
|
|
| 4. |
Put back the cover.
|
|
| 5. |
Connect the diagnostic tool and clear any diagnostic trouble codes.
|

| 6. |
Adjust the fifth bow latch motor. See
